Construction of a new industrial wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 15 thousand m 3 /day has begun at Uchalinsky GOK (an enterprise of the UMMC raw materials complex). To date, at the site of the future building - one of the objects of the second stage of industrial wastewater treatment plants - a significant part of the work on the installation of foundations has already been done. Inside, it remains to build two vats of milk of lime, and the builders will begin the construction of the above-ground part of the station.
At the same time, construction of other structures is underway: reinforced concrete work on the construction of two tanks-homogenizers with a volume of 2,200 m 3 and 6,000 m 3 for mixing waste water to a homogeneous composition, the foundation is being prepared for the foundation of the sewage pumping station No. 1, designed to bypass water from the equalization tanks into radial settling tanks.
- After averaging, water will undergo two stages of treatment in radial settling tanks and then, clarified, will be supplied to the stabilizing pond, - said Vadim Altynbaev, deputy head of the water supply section of Uchalinsky GOK JSC, about the future technology.
Upon completion of the construction of all facilities of the second stage, the treatment facilities of the Uchalinskaya industrial site will receive for treatment the mine waters of the Uchalinsky and Novo-Uchalinsky underground mines, e waters of the Uchalinskoye field, as well as rainwater wastewater. The cost of the project is about 1.5 billion rubles.
