Khaibullinsky District (Republic of Bashkortostan)
JSC Uralmekhanobr has completed a project for treatment facilities for mine, bottom-dump and storm water from the Yubileinoye deposit, LLC Bashkirskaya Med (an enterprise of the UMMC raw materials complex). The production capacity of the industrial facility will be 22,500 m³ /day, which will fully meet the company's need for water purification.
The treatment facilities are designed to purify industrial wastewater generated during the development of the Yubileinoye deposit to standard indicators not exceeding maximum permissible concentration for fishery water bodies.
The project provides for the use of several methods of industrial wastewater treatment at once, included in the list of the best permissible technologies: classical and membrane methods, as well as water disinfection.
In particular, the removal of suspended solids will occur during joint coagulation and flocculation with further settling, in the process of which a part of sulfates and phosphates is precipitated, indicators of biochemical and chemical oxygen consumption in effluents decrease, heavy metals such as iron, copper, zinc are removed. p>
Disinfected drains will be physical odom, in particular, ultraviolet radiation. It is planned to remove inorganic salts and parts of suspended solids using the technology of ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.
Among the main technological facilities of the treatment facilities of the Yubileynoye field, one can name an equalizing tank with a volume of 8600 m³, radial sedimentation tanks with a diameter of 15 meters and a settling pond with an area 35,000 m², which is comparable to five football fields. There will also be built pumping stations, stations for reagent treatment, post-treatment and sludge dewatering, reagent storage and reagent facilities.
Development of the project for the construction of treatment facilities took about six months. It included conducting pilot industrial tests, preparing basic technical solutions and directly developing design documentation. Currently, the project has received a positive conclusion of non-state expertise and state environmental expertise. After the customer determines the equipment suppliers, Uralmekhanobr JSC will start developing working documentation.
