Metalloinvest, a leading manufacturer and supplier of iron ore products and hot briquetted iron on the world market, one of the regional producers of high-quality steel, announces the appointment of Rinat Ismagilov as director of the mining division and Alexei Kushnarev as director of the metallurgical division.
These are new positions in the structure of the Company. The appointments are designed to improve the efficiency of production management, accelerate the introduction of new technologies and ensure the application of best practices in business processes.
Rinat Ismagilov is responsible for shaping the development policy, modernization and rational use of the resources of the Company's mining and processing plants - Lebedinsky GOK and Mikhailovsky GOK named after A.V. Varicheva.
Aleksey Kushnarev is responsible for solving similar problems for the metallurgical assets of Metalloinvest - OEMK im. A.A. Ugarov and Ural Steel.

Rinat Ismagilov graduated in 1986 from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (MISiS) with a degree in Mineral Processing. For many years he worked at the enterprises of the Russian mining and metallurgical company Norilsk Nickel. Since 2013, he has held the positions of Deputy Director of the Department, Director of the Mining Department of Metalloinvest.
Alexey Kushnarev graduated in 1982 from the Magnitogorsk Mining and Metallurgical Institute. G.I. Nosov, specializing in metal forming. In 1995, he received additional education at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation under the Leader in Market Conditions program. From 1982 to 2002, he worked at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, where he worked his way up from a rolling mill operator to the main rolling mill operator. In the period from 2002 to 2020, he was the chief distributor, chief engineer and Managing Director of Evraz Nizhniy Tagil Metallurgical Plant (NTMK) and Evraz Kachkanarsky GOK.
