At the ESAB-SVEL plant in St. Petersburg, the production of the legendary rutile powder wire Filarc PZ6113 was localized, which has established itself as one of the most popular types of powder wires.
The low-hydrogen Filarc PZ6113 for manual and mechanized welding in all spatial positions is effective even when welding vertically on the descent. The wire provides the opportunity to work in difficult conditions without a high requirement for the skills and qualifications of the welder.
One of the key advantages of this brand when welding in various spatial positions is an increase in welding performance by 30% compared to welding with solid wire and by 50% compared to manual arc welding with a piece electrode.
The wire works both in the protective gas C1 (CO2) and in the standard mixture M21 (Ar+CO2), and even at low currents it works in the jet transfer without splashing. Filarc PZ6113 provides good penetration and a smooth transition between the weld and the base material, as well as easy separation of the slag crust, which practically does not require additional stripping. In addition, it can be used with ordinary thyristor welding sources.
The wire will be available in 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm diameters and available in the following packaging options: 5 kg on a plastic coil in standard or vacuum packaging and 16 kg on a metal frame in standard packaging.
Filarc PZ6113 is widely used in such industries as shipbuilding, welding of metal structures, heavy machinery and tank production.
"Filarc PZ6113 wire is one of the most popular ESAB powder wires in the world and in Russia, and its localization was only a matter of time. The launch of Filarc on the territory of our plant in St. Petersburg will allow industrial companies to have a high-quality product within" walking distance", which has successfully proven itself over more than 30 years of history. At the same time, by offering high – quality products produced in our country, we contribute to the development of the welding industry," comments Dmitry Kuraksa, Managing Director of ESAB in Russia and the CIS.
