Ural Steel (part of the Metalloinvest company) in the first three months of 2021 produced more than 2 thousand tons of large-sized castings, which is twice the planned volume: 2040 against 975 tons. This indicator was achieved thanks to the expansion of the product range and the growing demand.
“The main consumers of our large-sized castings are the mining and metallurgical industries in Russia, Kazakhstan and Bulgaria. Our clients and partners appreciate the optimal cost and high quality, which provides a longer service life than provided for by the warranty, - said Ildar Iskakov, Managing Director of Ural Steel. "The molding shop also covers our own needs and the needs of the Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant for these products, which cost us one third less than the purchased ones."
In 2020, for our own needs, together with the metal structures workshop, Ural Steel mastered the production of updated cast iron ladles and devices for their tilting, which were previously purchased from third-party manufacturers.
