Metalloinvest, together with Alisher Usmanov's Art, Science and Sport charity foundation, organized a presentation of the Exit from the Shadows. Women in the history of Russian art of the 18th-20th centuries "in Orenburg.
The guests of the presentation were partners and friends of Ural Steel, the Novotroitsk enterprise of Metalloinvest.
The exhibition is held by the State Russian Museum and Orenburg Regional Museum of Fine Arts with the support of the Art, Science and Sport Foundation and Metalloinvest. The exposition consists of almost 70 works of Russian art of the 18th-20th centuries. The works of many of the greatest masters of Russian painting are shown for the first time in the Orenburg region.
The exhibition presents the view of artists of different eras and schools on the image of a woman, her place and role in Russian culture over the past three centuries. A separate part of the exhibition is made up of items of decorative and applied art - porcelain and tableware of the 1920s and 1930s, as well as the post-war years, distinguished by originality and high artistic merit.
The Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler addressed the guests with a welcoming speech, General Director of Metalloinvest Nazim Efendiev and Managing Director of Ural Steel Ildar Iskakov.

Many residents of the region have already visited the exhibition and left wonderful reviews about it. And many, I am sure, will still have time to visit the exposition. We are grateful to our partners - the Metalloinvest company and the Art, Science and Sport Foundation, which are organizing bright cultural events in the region for the first time and acquainting Orenburg residents with world works of art.
