A wide variety of assortments along with special characteristics of steel make it possible to use these metal products in the production of the most critical products, including those working in aggressive environments and conditions of the Far North.
The durable, wear-resistant and universal strip products presented at the exhibition are used in various industries: from heavy engineering to construction and artistic forging. It is used to produce fasteners, cutting tools, springs, springs, metal structures, bent profiles.
The main consumers of calibrated rolled products are enterprises that produce specialized equipment, high-precision equipment and unique parts for auto, rocket and aircraft construction.
Cold-rolled strip is used in instrument and mechanical engineering. A wide range of machine parts and structures designed for high loads is made from it. A unique product of Izhstal is a high-speed steel strip, which is supplied to tool factories.
At the exhibition you can also see samples of steel shaped profiles of high precision, in shape and cross-sectional dimensions as close as possible to specific details of machines and mechanisms ... For customers, this eliminates the need for contouring of parts and brings significant savings. Its main consumers are enterprises of the military-industrial complex and precision engineering.
The new product of the plant - a contact rail for the subway - is designed for sliding contact with the pantograph of a subway car. Its production was mastered by the plant in 2018 as part of the import substitution program. Previously, contact rail was not produced in Russia.
