Rolls, sakura, tea ceremony and girls in national costumes: a festive dinner was organized for the employees of the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant as part of the days of national cuisine.
To the melodic sound of instrumental music, the factory workers were greeted by female animators in kimonos. The dining room was decorated with sakura branches, fans and paper lamps. The organizers supplemented the gastronomic trip to the Land of the Rising Sun with immersion in the mysterious and sophisticated culture of Japan.
The factory workers appreciated the variety of fish dishes, combinations of tastes and new items in the menu. The first was Ramen soup with noodles and eggs, Chuka salad with trout and asparagus.
Baked rolls with crab, cucumber and trout became the most popular dish - they were prepared in an amount of over 1,500 pieces. Exotic treats could be tasted by the piece, so many people gladly took the rolls home. For dessert, the factory workers were offered vanilla milk jelly with fruit "Anindofu". The lunch ended with a tasting of traditional Japanese teas - "Asamushi sencha" and black tea with sakura.
- Proposals to spend a day of Japanese cuisine began to arrive as soon as the days of national cuisine appeared in the canteens. We always meet the needs of the company's employees and try to fulfill all their wishes. To please the factory workers, the chefs learned how to cook rolls and, in general, diversified the fish menu. The task of the canteens is not just to feed the factory workers, but to make their food tasty, varied and healthy. After all, the mood of people directly depends on how well the food is organized, - said the director of the catering company Lyubov Tyuleneva.
