JSC "UK" Kuzbassrazrezugol "(an enterprise of the raw materials complex of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company) is completing the construction of a sports and recreation complex with artificial ice in the village of Bachatsky (Belovo). The modern sports facility is planned to be commissioned by Miner's Day-2019.
The agreement on the construction of this most important sports and socially significant facility was reached in August 2018 between the Governor of the Kemerovo Region Sergei Tsivilev and the General Director of UMMC Andrey Kozitsyn.
“Currently, the main refrigeration equipment has already been installed, internal construction work is underway, the air conditioning and ventilation system is being installed,” comments Evgeny Buimov, Deputy Director for Capital Construction of JSC “MC“ Kuzbassrazrezugol ”. - This year UMMC celebrates its 20th anniversary, Kuzbassrazrezuglyu is 55, Bachatsky coal mine is 70, Bachatsky village is 65 years old, so the sports and recreation center will be an excellent gift for anniversaries and the main professional holiday of the region. Upon completion of the construction, the ice rink will be transferred to the Belovsky urban district and will become a publicly accessible municipal facility. "
The main arena with artificial ice and plastic boards is designed for hockey and figure skating. In addition, the project of the sports complex includes a volleyball and mini-football hall, a gym, changing rooms, convenient parking for cars in the adjacent territory.
The new sports facility will be located next to the Gornyak stadium, where by Miner's Day the stands and under-stands will be reconstructed.
