MMK announces the commissioning of a corporate information system based on Oracle e-Business Suite v.12 from 07/19/2019 The project is implemented within the framework of the Industry 4.0 concept and provides for the integration of the company's information flows on the basis of a unified information system, which contributes to improving the Group's business efficiency From 01.07.2019, the pilot operation of the corporate information system based on Oracle e-Business Suite v.12 OJSC MMK-METIZ and LLC OSK began. The company plans to introduce an information system in the machine-building division of MMK Group - LLC Mechanoremontny complex ”and a number of other companies. The corporate information system of MMK not only reflects the results of the company's financial and economic activities, but also promptly monitors the entire technological chain of production, the state of operation of all large mills and units, downtime and equipment repairs. During 2018–2019, the project team uniting specialists from PJSC MMK, OJSC MMK-METIZ, LLC OSK, LLC MMK-Accounting Center, LLC MMK-Informservice, LLC MMK-PRAVO and MRK LLC, together with Oracle consultants, carried out a lot of work on migration to a new information system, its configuration, data conversion and user training. The introduction of KIS made it possible to optimize and unify a number of business processes of the MMK Group. The optimization affected the processes of managing production (continuous and discrete), inventory, repairs, procurement (including the electronic marketplace), finance, personnel (including payroll), orders and sales. Thanks to the integration of end-to-end information flows, it became possible to model business processes of an enterprise and better predict the results of its activities. We managed to significantly reduce the number of old customizations and introduce many improvements that increase the company's operational efficiency.
