In Verkhnyaya Pyshma, graduates of targeted training were awarded diplomas and job invitations. The training was conducted on the basis of the Yunost technical school, which underwent a major reorganization in order to create an educational institution that fully meets the real needs of the region in personnel for industry. For this, in 2012, an Agreement was signed between the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company in the field of training highly qualified workers.
“The UMMC operates a complex system of personnel training, which implies a multi-stage approach. This means that we accompany our potential employees, from school to universities. The institute of mentoring, existing in the company, allows carrying out career guidance work with the younger generation from a very early age. It is with this approach that we get competent, well-trained graduates who are able to immediately join the work collective and start their work duties, ”noted Dmitry Malyshev, HR and General Affairs Director of UMMC.
During the first three years The regional authorities allocated 180 million rubles for the implementation of the project, which made it possible to organize 25 workshops and laboratories, to renovate educational buildings and a dormitory of the technical school. UMMC, in turn, developed professional standards for professions, the content of which was taken into account in the development of educational programs, internships were organized for the teachers of the technical school at the enterprises of the Company, and highly qualified specialists of UMMC conduct practical classes in groups of welders, electricians, auto mechanics, metallurgists, chemists, machine gunners. .
“Today's event is the result of a unique UMMC project aimed at training highly qualified workers. I consider the learning mechanism, the strong point of which is its practical orientation, to be very effective. Firstly, the training of future employees is carried out in accordance with federal state educational standards, and secondly, on the basis of the requirements of UMMC to its employees. Knowing the company, as well as what modern technologies are used at its enterprises, you can be sure that graduates of educational institutions have excellent training. Such personnel are necessary for the Sverdlovsk region, therefore we will disseminate similar experience in other educational institutions, ”said Albert Shavaliev, director of the vocational education department of the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region.
This year 44 graduates of targeted training from UMMC enterprises (JSC Uralelectromed, SUMZ , "Svyatogor", "Safyanovskaya Med", JSC "BRU", JSC "SHAAZ", JSC "Malyshevskoe ore management", JSC "Sukholozhskoe Casting". PJSC "Nadezhdinsky metallurgical plant"). Of these, 14 target students were awarded diplomas with honors.
Graduates are already familiar with their future jobs and teams, as they underwent industrial and pre-diploma practice at the enterprises that sent them to training. This will significantly reduce the adaptation time for young workers and have a positive impact on labor productivity. About 40% of graduates will be employed in blue-collar occupations in the 4th category, all the rest - in the third. This is a good result of the joint work of enterprises and the technical school.
907 students, 196 - by order from UMMC enterprises located in the Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Kurgan regions. Training is conducted in eight areas that are relevant for modern industry, including - "Metallurgy of non-ferrous metals", "Analytical quality control of chemical compounds", "Automation of technological processes and production", etc.
