The plant's specialists have replaced worn-out parts and mechanisms, water-cooled panels, refractory finishing of the inner space of the furnace, rails in the casting and charge spans. We have adjusted the optimal operating modes of power and hydraulic equipment, bottom mixing systems. Repaired the control system of the parameters of the furnace. An additional steel-pouring ditch was also built, which will increase the production of large-tonnage ingots.
Complex alloy steel grades are cast on the repaired DSP-25 furnace. Its capacity is 60 thousand tons per year. A complex for out-of-furnace steel processing and equipment for electroslag remelting work in the same technological chain with it. The steel obtained in the process of such remelting is distinguished by a low level of non-metallic inclusions, increased density, high mechanical and operational properties.
