The football competition completes the BMK annual comprehensive sports contest. And who will be among the winners depends on the outcome of the championship. The games were held for two weeks in a circular system: each team had to fight with rivals in its group of workshops. The winner was determined by the highest number of points scored.
BMK athletes - football fans - from the beginning of the competition showed a dynamic and bright game: they carried out attacks, used various combinations, did everything to defend their goal and score a decisive goal to their opponents. The leaders of the tournament were determined as a result of an exciting struggle. The first place in the first group of workshops (workshops with more than 200 employees) was won by the team of the first steel wire rope workshop. The sportsmen of the plant management and the rolling shop rose to the second and third steps of the podium.
In the second group of workshops (workshops with less than 200 employees) the football players of the electrical equipment repair workshop confirmed their title of the best last year. The second place was taken by the team of the steel wire shop No.6, the third place was taken by the sportsmen of the Information Technology Department. The winners were awarded with diplomas and gift certificates.
