The Uzelginsky mine of the Uchalinsky GOK (an enterprise of the raw materials complex of UMMC) received two units of underground equipment - a Sadvik DL421 single-barrel drilling rig and a Caterpillar R1700G LHD. The equipment arrived as part of the implementation of a plan to replace and modernize equipment.
The Sadvik DL421 drilling rig (Finland) is designed to create wells in underground mine workings, which are subsequently used to fill explosives. The machine, 11 meters long and weighing 22 tons, is capable of drilling wells up to 44 meters deep. It differs from similar installations, which are now used in the mines of the Uchalinsky GOK, in a more efficient perforator with an impact energy of 33 kW.
- Until we had experience in using such a powerful perforator, it is experimental. Let's see how the technique will show itself in work. We hope that with the launch of the new unit, we will be able to increase productivity and improve the quality of drilling, - said Oleg Abramov, electrical mechanic of PU No. 7 of the Uzelginsky mine.
The Caterpillar R1700G LHD (USA) with a lifting capacity of 14 tons cleaning mining operations - excavation of rock mass and loading it into a dump truck or loading it into an ore pass. The machine is equipped with a remote control system: when carrying out complex loading operations in the cleaning area, the driver is at a safe distance and controls the operation of the equipment using a remote control. The loader is valued for its reliability, safety and comfort.
In total, in 2019, about 500 million rubles will be allocated for the purchase of new equipment for the Uchalinsky GOK. The enterprise will receive new excavators, wheel loaders and dump trucks. The technological park has already been supplemented by three new Volvo A45G articulated dump trucks. To date, the machines intended for the transportation of rock mass and bulk materials have been tested and put into operation on the technological roads of the Ozernoye and Zapadno-Ozernoye deposits.
