The Mercy Charitable Foundation, NLMK's social partner, organized a sport fishing tournament for children with disabilities. The competition was held with the support of the Regional Fisheries Federation.
Each wheelchair-bound child from the fund was given light, comfortable fishing rods. After that, the participants - 25 children and their parents - started fishing on specially equipped bridges.
The wheelchair fishermen coped with a difficult task for themselves and were able to prove that there are no barriers and restrictions in sports. Some guys put the bait on their own, cast their fishing rods and fished out carp. And the family of Anton, a boy with severe cerebral palsy, together caught a three-kilogram carp. At the end of the tournament, each participant was awarded certificates, medals and sweets.

For one boy who participated in our tournament and lives on the fifth floor without an elevator, we even had to connect volunteers and a special bus with a lift. But you should have seen the happy eyes of the guys on a real fishing! ”.

The steelmaking production of Novolipetsk Combine has two converter shops. Converter shop No. 2 produces over 60% of the steel at the Lipetsk site.
