UMMC Technical University in partnership with the International Institute of Design and Service (MIDIS) have created a modern electronic training course for workers, which changes the idea of classic electronic courses for vocational training.
The result of the collaboration of production workers, programmers and gamers has become a new product on the market of educational services - a course in the profession "Slinger". As explained at the UMMC Technical University, the training program for this profession is in constant demand, since the lion's share of UMMC employees must have the skills to work with loads and lifting mechanisms.
The e-course not only demonstrates illustrations and videos, but also provides an opportunity to examine all the details of the workflow using dynamic 3D models and manage them. To practice their skills, the listener is invited to go through a computer mini-game. "The interactivity of this electronic course helps not only to better acquire knowledge, but also creates motivation to take the course in a more interesting modern form," said Vyacheslav Lapin, director of the UMMC Technical University. - This is our first trial course using elements of computer 3D technologies. We are already analyzing the needs of various companies in this type of courses and plan to develop the experience gained in training programs for engineering and technical workers, for example, mine surveying, work at height, technosphere safety. " Vyacheslav Lapin also noted that the development of interactive courses is a very time-consuming task, therefore this format of courses will be used for the most popular training programs.
