MMK was recognized for its work with youth at an industry competition

Materials from 50 enterprises from 20 regions of Russia, included in 14 metallurgical companies and holdings, and in which more than 40% of workers in the mining and metallurgical complex are employed, were presented for the competition. The winners of the industry competition were recommended by the Government of the Russian Federation for the title “Russian organization of high social efficiency.” Much attention is traditionally paid to the implementation of youth policy at the plant. Within the framework of the youth program of PJSC MMK, implemented by the Magnitogorsk city youth public organization Union of Young Metallurgists in cooperation with the administration of the enterprise and the trade union committee, active work is being carried out aimed at attracting, selecting and retaining young people at the plant. The Union of Young Metallurgists is the largest youth public organization in Magnitogorsk. Apart from volunteers, it currently has over three hundred employees of the PJSC MMK Group. In 2018, the company allocated 2.3 million rubles for the implementation of the youth policy. The constant work of the youth activists within the framework of the youth program of the plant helps young workers to gain a foothold in the enterprise, contributes to the development of their professional, sports and creative potential. The results of the XVI industry competition "Enterprise of the mining and metallurgical complex of high social efficiency - 2019" were summed up by the Board of the Association of industrialists complex of Russia and the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union of Russia (in agreement with the Department of Metallurgy and Materials of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation). The winners were awarded in Moscow as part of the festive events dedicated to the professional holiday of the Day of Metallurgist. The Magnitogorsk Hardware and Calibration Plant MMK-METIZ (part of the MMK Group) also became one of the winners of the competition in the Health Protection and Safe Working Conditions nomination. information and public relations of PJSC MMK
