Metalloinvest, a leading manufacturer and supplier of iron ore products and hot briquetted iron in the world market, one of the regional producers of high-quality steel, launched pilot operation at Mikhailovsky GOK named after A.V. Varicheva ball mill with increased drum volume and modern control system. The commissioning of the new equipment will increase the production of iron ore concentrate by 108 thousand tons per year.
“The ball mill is involved in the grinding of crushed ore,” said Sergey Kalyukin, head of the technical department of the MGOK concentration plant. - The new mill replaces an outdated similar installation. After reaching the planned targets, we will be able to produce 9 thousand tons of concentrate more per month than at the previous capacities ”.
The ball mill operator panel displays all operating parameters. The system performs archiving, control and processing of technological process data and promptly informs about possible deviations.
The mill was supplied to Mikhailovsky GOK by UZTM-KARTEX. During its production, the design features of the installation site were taken into account. Thanks to the use of a solid drum, it was possible to increase the strength of the structure and significantly reduce the assembly time.
The purchase of new equipment for the processing plant of the plant is carried out as part of a comprehensive program aimed at increasing production volumes and the quality of products.
