Let us remind you that within the framework of the "Attraction" project in Magnitogorsk, it is planned to comprehensively develop an area of about 400 hectares. A year-round multifunctional park space with a complex of buildings with a total area of about 100 thousand square meters will be created here. m. Key construction projects for the new park include a museum and educational complex, a children's indoor amusement park, a 50-meter swimming pool with a fitness center, indoor ice and freestyle arenas (in the center of modern sports), and 4 star hotel. In addition, a landscaped park area will be created, where playgrounds and a lake with a beach area and an embankment will be located.
Currently, construction work is underway on the territory of the "Attraction" project for the engineering preparation of the territory and the laying of on-site utilities. As part of this work, 5.75 km have been assembled and laid to date. pipes for water supply networks and 3.13 km. pipes for drainage networks. To provide electricity to the construction site and facilities of the first stage, the Zelenaya electrical substation with a capacity of 4.8 MW was built. The most large-scale works were carried out on engineering preparation and construction of the first and second stages of the "Bulvar" facility, 1.5 km long along Sovetskaya Street. 215 thousand m³ of soil was developed, dumping a but 456 thousand m³ of crushed slag, 400 m of cases for communications were installed and 1.3 km of various pipelines were laid. Now the installation of reinforced concrete tanks for future green spaces is underway. The volume of investments in the engineering preparation of the territory has now amounted to about half a billion rubles.
At the same time, the construction and reconstruction of the Perimeter Roads of the "Attraction" project is underway, which will relieve the main city highways and reduce the number of traffic jams during peak hours. For these purposes, 1.4 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget within the framework of the national project "Safe and High-Quality Roads" in 2020 and 2021. In July 2021, a new 4-lane road “st. Attraction ”with a total length of 3.16 km. The reconstruction of a number of other sections of streets and roads adjacent to the territory of "Attraction" is nearing completion. The construction of parking lots for future visitors to the park and city residents for 2,155 cars with a total area of over 70 thousand square meters is underway.
The first phase of the "Attraction" project will be launched in the summer of 2022. The central entrance group with a color and music fountain and the first stage of the Boulevard, about 500 m long, will be opened. The first stage of the park with an area of more than 23 hectares, with paths and green spaces, an information center and a food mall, will also open. In addition, a central playground with a recreation area for parents, as well as a roller-park that has no analogues in the region, which will turn into a skating rink in winter, will operate.
