To avoid tragic situations, it is necessary to strictly observe the fire safety rules at the enterprise, for the organization of which the managers are responsible. At enterprises associated with hot work:
- Workers must not wear clothing with traces of gasoline and other combustible substances,
- uniforms must be made of special materials,
- in case of leakage of combustible materials, the spill areas should be covered with sand, which is disposed of after soaking, and treated with special substances,
- air samples are taken for the content of flammable gases,
- asbestos shields being prepared
- outlets are released, etc.
At any enterprise, it is necessary to control the availability of emergency exits, which must not be cluttered up, used to store tools, things. It is not allowed to use open fire, special places are organized for smoking.
Safe work with technological equipment
Fire safety when working with process equipment is to follow simple and effective rules:
- you can not work on faulty machines,
- during repair, the equipment must be disconnected from the network,
- flammable substances must not be used for wiping and cleaning,
- you can not continue to work when sparks from the electric line appear,
- It is necessary to carry out regular repairs and maintenance of machines.
Depending on the nature of the activity, each enterprise develops special rules. to ensure PB. In the event of a fire, employees must know the evacuation procedure, how to call the fire department, how to localize the fire and start extinguishing the fire, depending on its nature.
Of great importance in the fight against fire is the presence of a working alarm, smoke exhausters, installation of fire doors and other events in accordance with the established standards and requirements of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. A responsible person appointed by the manager must monitor compliance with the safety rules by employees, as they often neglect them due to a lack of understanding of the risk of fires.
Inspection of fire safety at the enterprise
The Ministry of Emergency Situations regularly checks the equipment of enterprises for the organization of fire safety, briefings and training of employees, the availability and correctness of documentation.
Compliance with the established requirements will help prevent a fire or minimize damage, save people's lives and health in case of an emergency.
