Russian Snowboard Championship
Not so long ago, the President of the All-Russian Snowboard Federation made a working visit to the Altai Territory , where he met with the Minister of Sports for the region. At this meeting, the topic of snowboarding development in all regions of the Altai Territory was raised. It was decided to hold a stage of the Russian Snowboard Cup. This event is planned for spring 2025. Junior championships are scheduled for 2026.
The event will be held at the Blagodat ski complex, which is located in Belokurikha. Among the parallel disciplines, slalom can be noted. A cup will be held in this sports discipline.
It is worth noting that the president of the federation also got acquainted with the infrastructure of the sports school in Barnaul. Made a trip to Belokurikha, where he assessed sports facilities. All-Russian Chess Festival
In May of this year, a chess festival of an all-Russian scale was held in the Altai Territory. The regional government reports this. Young chess players, boys and girls from different regions of Siberia gathered in Barnaul. Children of different age groups were selected for the competition. In the first group, children are under 9 years old, in the second – up to 11 years old, in the third – up to 13 years old, and in the fourth – up to 15 years old.
Chess is actively developing in this region. The “Chess at School” project has been introduced in educational institutions. This allows you to increase the number of participants in a chess tournament. The Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory wished all young chess players positive results at the chess festival.
It is worth noting that the winners will be awarded tickets to the major league, which is planned in Russia in 2025. Close friendly relations have developed between the regional government and the chess federation.
