The construction of buildings, structures or highways involves the use of special reinforced concrete structural elements. These include reinforced concrete slabs , which are manufactured in accordance with the established standards of Russian GOST:
- Using proven technologies on special equipment.
- Using certain grades of cement and fillers.
Steel rod or wire is used as reinforcing elements. Finished products undergo vibration drying and settle until the concrete sets completely. They are tested for quality and absence of hidden defects.
Main types of floor slabs
Reinforced concrete floor slabs are classified according to dimensional parameters, weight of products and technical characteristics - strength, resistance to external and bending loads. By design, the following types are distinguished:
- Solid - durable and having significant mass. They can be used in the construction of small private houses.
- Hollow - have longitudinal holes of a certain diameter. They are quite light and increase the thermal conductivity and sound insulation characteristics of rooms.
- Products with longitudinal stiffening ribs provide additional structural strength.
Reinforced concrete slabs are distinguished by ease of installation and long service life ( manufacturer's warranty up to 100 years). They can be used to make floors for both heated and “cold” buildings. They have clear, verified geometry, surface plane and precise dimensions.
