In December 2025, a record number of new passenger cars was sold in Ukraine, starting from March 2014 – 12.4 thousand units, Ukravtoprom reports.
This situation in the market arose due to the termination of VAT benefits for electric vehicles, which led to a rush to register such cars in December, the last month of the benefit.
Compared to November 2025, the market for new cars increased by 50%, and by 2.2 times compared to December 2024.
