Three eventful and inspiring days at the Made in Steel exhibition in Milan have come to an end, and EUROMETAL was proud to participate in the discussion of issues that determine the future of our industry.

Yesterday, our President, Alexander Julius, took part in the panel discussion "The path to the future: Decarbonizing the European steel industry while maintaining competitiveness." He highlighted the urgent implementation of the Carbon Boundary Regulation Mechanism (CBAM), the continuing uncertainty about its application, and the urgent need to inform and train all participants in the steel supply chain.

During the session, key representatives of the European and global steel industries exchanged views on how to balance decarbonization efforts with economic competitiveness.

During the exhibition, EUROMETAL had the opportunity to meet with members of the EUROMETAL Presidential Board, interact with numerous members and associates, and network with colleagues, partners, and industry stakeholders — both participants and visitors — at this important event for the Southern European steel sector.

Special thanks to Siderweb for organizing this outstanding event. Thanks to everyone who contributed to these meaningful discussions. See you at the next issue!
