Ahmet Ozkan was elected the new president of YISAD, the Association of Exporters and Industrialists of Flat Rolled Products, following the 12th regular meeting of the association's General Assembly, held on May 8, 2026 at the Kavacik shopping Center in Turkey.
Ozkan, who is also the chairman of Dempaş Demir, becomes the president of the association after the elections, which also confirmed the appointment of new members to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.
In the new administration, Metin Typhoon Isheri and Ahmet Soyash were elected vice presidents. Murat Erylmaz became the general secretary, and Hakki Kan Shailan became the accountant.
The Board consisted of Gokhan Demiruz, Mehmet Ali Finkan, Akin Tatoglu, Abdullah Akgun, Tolga Erdogdu and Ahmet Koyuncu. Ersoy Yilmaz, Khalil Bayik and Mustafa Kemal Akmermer were elected members of the Supervisory Board.
YISAD represents companies operating in the rolled steel sector and plays an important role in the Turkish steel industry and the export community.
