a Coalition of industry associations of the European Union Industry4Europe, on Tuesday, November 26, published his new joint paper "Long-term industrial strategy the future of Europe: from words to action".
149 industry organizations represented in Industry4Europe, demonstrated unity in its repeated calls for an ambitious long-term industrial strategy of the EU, which should help Europe to remain a leading centre, intelligent, innovative and sustainable industry that provides good jobs and benefits all Europeans and future generations.
Through cross-sectoral recommendations, the coalition will contribute to the future industrial strategy, the EU declared elected President of the European Commission, and Ursula von der Leyen, said Eurofer.
In the European steel Association, is a member of the coalition, said he was proud of the support "the goals of this important joint document on industrial policy."

In a joint document presented specific proposals industrial policy in seven priority areas:
- business-friendly political environment,
- sustainability,
- professional development and training,
- expansion of research and innovation
- investments and improved access to Finance,
- strengthening the single European market,
- strengthening trade and access to international markets.
"today the European Union needs an ambitious industrial strategy to compete with other global regions that have put industry at the top of their political agenda. For a horizontal, coherent and targeted industrial policy, it is important to maintain the backbone of the European economy and to protect citizens and the environment," said Philippe citroën, coordinator Industry4Europe.
European steel Association (EUROFER) is a member of the coalition Industry4Europe.
