tk accelis valued at €1.77 billion after stock market debut

On Wednesday, thyssenkrupp listed tk accelis on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The company, formerly known as tk Materials Services, had a market capitalization of around €1.77 billion ($1.96 billion) at the time of the listing.

Thyssenkrupp has thus completed the spin-off of tk accelis and listed 49% of its shares, or 63.5 million shares in total. The parent group retains a 51% stake. Trading opened at €27.80 per share, and the stock rose to €30.70 on Wednesday morning.

“The stock market listing is the logical next step in our successful transformation,” tk accelis CEO Ilse Henne said in a comment seen by Kallanish. “Now that we are an independent company, we have greater freedom to act. We will be able to invest the capital we generate more strategically in high-margin areas and consistently expand our range of products and services.”

In the first nine months of the 2025/26 financial year, tk accelis generated revenue of €9.1 billion and adjusted EBITDA of €256 million. Its adjusted EBITDA margin was 2.8%.

In the medium term, the company aims to raise its adjusted EBITDA margin to 4–5% and achieve annual group sales growth of 4%. To this end, tk accelis will focus on higher-margin businesses with a greater share of services, expand its presence in North America and continue to systematically improve efficiency.

The share listing is one of the steps toward thyssenkrupp’s new ACES 2030 model, group CEO Miguel López said.

“We are continuing to transform thyssenkrupp from an integrated industrial conglomerate into a lean financial holding company—with greater decentralization, flexibility and clear accountability,” he added.
