US President Donald Trump announced his intention on Monday to impose duties of 25% on imported steel and aluminum.
"There will be a 25% duty on steel," he told American reporters aboard the presidential plane.

"and aluminum, too," Trump added.
In addition, he said that on Tuesday or Wednesday he would announce duties against those US trading partners who have tariffs on American goods.
"they will take effect almost immediately," Trump said of the tariffs imposed by trading partners.
