Inguletsky, Tsentralny and Severny GOKs, which are part of the Metinvest group of Ukrainian billionaires Rinat Akhmetov and Vadim Novinsky, in July transferred to the treasury of the city of Kryvyi Rih double income tax and land payments. According to the press service of Metinvest, they will pay the double rate for land use in August and September.

During this difficult period, those cities in which large socially responsible businesses operate were found to be more protected. Our employees are provided with jobs, we continue to pay wages smoothly and in full. In addition, it was decided to increase tax payments to the city budget. We are making every effort not only to stabilize the situation, but also to create conditions for the full-fledged socio-economic development of Krivoy Rog, ”said Dmitry Shevchik, General Director of the Central GOK.
Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Metinvest Group and its shareholders - Rinat Akhmetov and Vadim Novinsky - have been systematically helping Kryvyi Rih. About 20 thousand express tests, an ultra-precise PCR analyzer and bioboxes for transporting patients with COVID-19 were transferred to the city's hospital bases. Also, doctors received seven modern artificial lung ventilation devices. Metinvest enterprises purchased personal protective equipment for doctors and law enforcement officers of the city. The watering equipment of GOKs disinfects city streets and public places.
