An iron ore company headquartered in Switzerland and assets in Ukraine Ferrexpo has decided to pay an additional special interim dividend of 6.6 US cents per share.
The dividend announced today follows the 6.6 US cents special interim dividend announced in June, as well as the 6.6 US cents interim dividend announced with Ferrexpo's interim results last month and brings the total payout announced this year up to 19.8 US cents, already exceeding the total payment for 2019 (13.2 US cents).
According to the company itself, today's special interim dividend reflects strong cash generation at Ferrexpo and is in line with the Board's strategy of maintaining a balance between sustainable and attractive shareholder returns, investment in growth opportunities and a robust balance sheet.
Ferrexpo in January-July le 2020 increased the total production of pellets by 3.5% compared to the corresponding period last year - up to 6.38 million tons.
Special interim dividends will be paid on 8 October 2020 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 25 September 2020. It will be paid in British Pounds Sterling with the option to be withdrawn in USD.
Ferrexpo plc owns 100% of the shares of Ferrexpo AG, which, in turn, owns 100% of the shares of Poltava GOK and 100% of the shares of Eristovsky GOK.
