The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine took part in the online webinar "Development of Extractive Industries in Ukraine", organized by the American-Ukrainian Business Council (USUBC) and the Canadian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (CUCC). The event was supported by the Ukrainian World Congress Committee on Ukraine's Economic Development and Investment (EPIC).
During the webinar, the head of the State Geological Survey Roman Opimakh presented the investment opportunities of Ukraine in terms of the development of facilities with deposits of critical and strategic minerals. In particular, he offered foreign partners to develop deposits of lithium, titanium, nickel, cobalt, niobium, zirconium, as well as gold and hydrocarbons.
“We have created an Investment Atlas containing vacant subsoil plots with deposits of strategic and critical minerals for their purchase at e-auctions. We also prepared a virtual data-room for secondary geological information. The database contains descriptive information about subsoil use objects, land plots within the boundaries of deposits, as well as geological reports. Access to the data-room is free, ”explained the chairman of the State Geological Survey.
The event was also attended by the Office for Attracting and Supporting Investments UkraineInvest, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU), foreign companies and associations - more than 300 participants in total.
