A new metalworking workshop has been launched in Tyumen at the Voskhod manufacturing enterprise, which specializes in the production of complex parts for oil and gas equipment. Andrey Panteleev, Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region, Maxim Afanasyev, Mayor of the city, Nikolay Purtov, General Director of the Investment Agency, and Alexander Vasiliev, Director of Development of the Oil and Gas Cluster Association, took part in the inspection of the facility.
As part of a large-scale investment project, a modern workshop with an area of 1,476.5 square meters has been built. m and purchased high-tech metalworking equipment. Deputy Governor Andrey Panteleev called this project a prime example of the synthesis of government and business. The company, which previously worked for the automotive industry, has been rebuilt as an oilfield service and is already producing equipment replacing its Western counterparts. The total investment amounted to 232 million rubles, of which 46 million rubles was a subsidy from the regional budget. 52 new jobs have been created, and more than 40 large companies are among the customers.
Maxim Afanasyev, the head of Tyumen, noted that the municipality's task is to integrate into the investor's production plans and prepare all permits as quickly as possible, from the layout of the territory to changes to the rules of land use. This is a technically challenging job, but the city accompanies the project individually at all stages. In five years of operation, the company has mastered more than 300 types of products and produced 800,000 parts, and the total fleet of machines has reached 300 units.Nikolay Purtov, General Director of the Investment Agency, stressed that it was possible to ensure accelerated connection of the facility to utility networks – the time was only six months, which is twice as fast as the average standards. This result was made possible thanks to the clear coordination of the administration, resource supply organizations and the company's team. At the opening ceremony, Purtov presented a commemorative statuette of the unified investment team of the region to the head of Voskhod, Rustam Mirkhasanov.
In the near future, the company plans to expand the range of products for deep–sea drilling and complicated production conditions, as well as increase the share of products with a high level of conversion: ready-made assembly units undergoing hydraulic testing and finishing. The project has already proved its worth and will continue to contribute to the tax base and the economy of the region.
