The main task of the complex is flue gas purification. The installation will reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 70% and make a significant contribution to improving the ecology of Novokuznetsk.
The height of the tower is 150 meters, it has 26 tiers and almost 3,000 tons of steel structures.
According to EVRAZ, the tower impresses not only with its scale, but also with its unique design for Russia, designed with seismic activity in mind: it can withstand even an 8-point earthquake.
The company has invested 21 billion rubles in the project.
The complex will be operational in 2026. Novokuznetsk will receive not only a modern ecological facility, but also a new industrial landmark.
