Engineering Surveys, which supplies Severstal with electricity from the wholesale market, has implemented unique software that operates on the basis of the latest IT developments and has become an important tool in automating a complex and multi-step process that was previously performed manually.

The solution allows us to find alternative internal reserves in order not to increase the sales premium for the Group's enterprises. Thanks to this, it was possible to optimize costs and reduce the cost of finished products.
This solution completely eliminated manual labor when performing reconciliation of electricity metering data, approving purchase volumes, signing accounting totals with an electronic digital signature, as well as generating reports on electricity transmission contracts and sending them to counterparties.
The economic effect of the implementation of the "Robot" software, developed in 2 months, is estimated by us at 7 million rubles, which brings it to the break-even point within 3 months. In addition to automating routine operations, reducing task execution time, minimizing errors in data reconciliation, and increasing transparency and control over the process as a whole, the Robot allowed Engineering Surveys LLC to improve the commercial component of electricity costs for customers and increase its competitiveness among energy retail companies, said the Deputy Director for work at OREM of the company "Engineering surveys" Yuri Izmailov.
"The results of RPA's work with 120 consumers and electricity volumes of >3 billion kilowatt-hours obtained during pilot and industrial operation clearly demonstrate its ability to accurately process 300+ documents per month, generate a final report upon completion of all work stages and send it to responsible persons. Taking into account the above advantages, we consider the "Robot" not only an effective tool for optimizing the budget, but also suitable for use by companies engaged in the purchase of electricity."The use of the "Robot" can be either scaled in accordance with the subsequent increase in production capacity, or customized to meet the similar needs of third-party organizations engaged in the wholesale purchase of energy resources.
