Only wheels and bearings were purchased for the construction of the wagon. Previously, the purchase of a slag truck cost 25 million rubles, but on–site production is almost twice as cheap.
The production of special wagons became possible thanks to the program for the development of the construction metal structures site. The novelty is the result of the coordinated work of several departments at once.
The success of the project will allow significant savings: the need for three such products is planned for 2026 alone.

Since March 2022, Ural Steel and the Zagorsky Pipe Plant have been part of a single metallurgical holding company.
