The repairs were completed in full, with a total of 5 days ahead of schedule compared to the plan. The amount of investments in Metalloinvest was not reported.

The overhaul of GBJ-1 took 17 days. The key steps were the repair of the shaft furnace, the replacement of the bucket belt and the cooling tower, the unit responsible for cleaning and cooling the gas. The plant's specialists have implemented their own design solutions: they have reinforced the frame and the jet beam of the vibration-cooling conveyor drive, which has increased its reliability. The furnace loading and unloading system has also been upgraded: the main elements have been replaced, which has increased the service life of the equipment. For the first time, the reformer burners were completely replaced.

The capital works on GBZH-2 lasted 18 days. The bucket conveyor, loading pipes and frequency converters on briquette presses, a gearbox and a compressor for sealing gas, as well as conveyor belts for loading and unloading paths were replaced there. For the first time since the installation was put into operation, the loading pipes on the briquette presses have been updated. New chains, rollers and pallets are installed on the cooling conveyors. The engines on the sealing gas compressor and in the GBJ dedusting system have been updated. The flues, main air duct and auxiliary units were cleaned, as well as the reloading units at the unloading and warehouse of finished products were inspected.
In October 2025, it is planned to overhaul the third complex for the production of hot briquetted iron, GBZH-3. Thus, major repairs will be carried out at all Metalloinvest's HBI production facilities by the end of October.
