Group NLMK plans until 2022 to transfer to road transport 22% of their traffic from the current 4%. Russia's largest steel producer, believes that for distances of delivery of up to 150 km road transport railway more profitable.

In absolute numbers is expected to increase steel shipments by trucks with 100 tons from 3.7 million tons in 2019 to 1 million tons from 4.5 million tons in 2022.

the company does not plan to create its own fleet, believing that her clients have all the possibilities for pickup.

NLMK plans to launch in 2020 a new set of autothrust capacity of 1.1 million tonnes at its main site in Lipetsk. In 2020 also is scheduled to be at full capacity the new indoor complex distribution to "NLMK-Kaluga" by capacity of 300 thousand tons, which was launched this year.

NLMK intends to increase loading and by rail. "We are preparing for the launch of the network of about 1 million tonnes of metal and approximately 2.5 million tons of raw materials," — said in late October, the Vice-President for logistics NLMK, Sergei Likharev.
