Brazil has suspended antidumping measures against the import of hot-rolled steel products, manufactured iron and steel companies of Russia and China, according to the Department of development and regulation of foreign trade activities of the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation.
"According to the resolution of the Executive Committee of the chamber of Commerce of the Ministry of economy dated January 15, 2020 No. 5, in Brazil completed an evaluation process for the public interest, started in October 2019 in connection with the statements of the national steel industry on the need for abolition in 2018 the suspension of anti-dumping measures against imports to Brazil steel products from Russia and China," the message reads.
On the materials of the process of assessing the public interest of economic development of Russia together with the interested Russian producers of hot-rolled steel products in November 2019 was submitted to the comments of the Russian side the Ministry of economy of Brazil.
