Changes in the composition of the board of PJSC "Dneprospetsstal" took place in connection with a comprehensive reorganization and personnel changes, and are in no way related to a change in owner. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise on Thursday, October 24.
According to the official information of the Property and Securities Department, the shareholders of the plant have not changed over the past 10 years, and they will not change in the near future, Dneprospetsstal assured.
They recalled that the company has embarked on a course for sustainable development and is not planning redundancies at the initiative of the administration, but, on the contrary, has opened a set for many professions.
The press service of Dneprospetsstal reported that Alexander Panchenko, Sergei Kasyan and Yulia Deeva resigned from the company's board.
Since October 23, for a period of 3 years, members of the Board have been elected:
- Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Economic Security Andrey Katerusha;
- Deputy Chairman of the Management Board - HR Director Maxim Zinovkin;
- Deputy Director for Economics and Budgets of the Financial and Economic Service Sergey Barabash;
- Head of the Property and Securities Department Vitaly Tryukhan.
According to data from open sources, the shareholders of PJSC Dneprospetsstal are Wenox Holdings Ltd. - 47.1128%, Boundryco Ltd - 11.0131%, Gazaro Ltd - 16.5197% (all - Cyprus). The plant's shareholders are associated with VS Energy International, the beneficiaries of which are several Russian entrepreneurs, including State Duma deputy Alexander Babakov.
In the first half of 2019, Dneprospetsstal reduced steel production by 13.7%, rolled products - by 9.9%, and the output of commercial products as a whole in monetary terms fell by 13.1%. However, already in the third quarter, the company managed to increase steel production by 1.9% and maintain the production of rolled products at the level of the second quarter of 2019.
Electrometallurgical plant "Dneprospetsstal" (Zaporozhye) is a manufacturer of metal products from stainless, tool, high-speed (including those made by powder metallurgy), bearing, structural alloyed and carbon steels. DSS products are used in the most critical industries - mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace and oil and gas.
