According to preliminary data OP "Ukrmetallurgprom" in October, 2019 in Ukraine decreased production of the main types of metallurgical products. So, pig iron output decreased by 9.1% compared with September and amounted to 1.59 million tons. Steel production fell by 10.5% to 1.56 million tons, output of finished rolled products – by 2.3% to 1.54 million tons.
10 months 2019 metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine produced of cast iron is 17.07 million tons, which corresponds to the last level; steel - 17,96 million tons, which is 2.3% more than in the same period of last year; finished rolled steel of 15.64 million tons, which is 1.8% more than last year.
Previously coalsalesthat for 9 months of 2019 the reduction in the consumption of rolled products in the domestic market of Ukraine concerning January-September 2018 amounted to 5.2%, while the share of imports rose 1.5%.
