According to the Ukrainian hydrometeorological center, in connection with an atypical for Ukraine autumn-winter period, in the basins of all rivers of Ukraine has developed an extremely adverse meteorological conditions for the formation of spring floods. These adverse conditions are observed for the first time.
According to the forecasts of meteorologists, the water level of the Dnieper river near Kiev in the second half of February is expected to average 790 m3/s, or 88% of normal. The water content of the Dniester - in the range of 90-150 m3/s, which is 53% of normal and is 68% probability. Filling the cascade of the Dnieper reservoirs is 86.7% of the project.
