Dnieper Metallurgical Plant in February 2021 reduced the volume of commercial metal products output by 36,020 tons to 192,813 tons, informs the economic planning department of the plant.
Last month, the target was fulfilled only in the rolling shop. The workers of sintering, blast-furnace and converter production worked in the negative.
The sinter shop produced 284,736 tons of sinter, which is 91.9% of the completed task.
With the plan of 181,906 tons of pig iron, 171,040 tons were produced during February - 6.0% less than planned.
The target of steelmaking is 96.2% completed, 193,280 tons were produced, which is 7702 tons less than the plan. In the total production of steel, the amount of commodity amounted to 129 929 tons against the plan of 138 017 tons.
The total output of rolled products for the last month - 70,065 tons (3175 tons to the plan).
Dneprovsk Iron and Steel Works shipped 195,707 tons of commercial metal products to customers during February, which is 7,731 tons (3.8%) less than the set target.
The plant did not explain the reasons for such a sharp decline in production indicators.
Let us remind you that in January 2021 the Dnieper Metallurgical Plant produced 228 833 tons of commercial metal products. This is 8,442 tons more than planned. Shipments amounted to 225,425 tons of commercial metal products.
