Dnieper Metallurgical Plant (DMK, Kamenskoe, Dnipropetrovsk region) in January 2021 produced 228,833 tons of commercial metal products. This is 8 442 tons more than planned, informs the economic planning department of the plant.
227,602 tons of steel were smelted at DMK in January, which is 2.5% or 5,657 tons more than the January plan. In the total production of steel, the number of marketable products amounted to 160,127 tons. The total output of rolled products in January reached 73,544 tons (5,931 tons to the plan).
Dneprovsk Iron and Steel Works shipped 225,425 tons of commercial metal products to customers last month, which is 6,821 tons (1.3%) more than the set target.
In the blast-furnace, converter and rolling shops, the January task was 100% fulfilled. The agglomeration shop did not achieve the targets - 328,539 tons of sinter were produced, which is 94.3% of the plan.
Last month, DMK produced 204,094 tons of pig iron, which is 2,688 tons, or 1.3% more than the plan. Including the production of commercial pig iron amounted to 3 476 tons.
