Energomashspetsstal (EMSS) has signed a new contract for the supply of parts for the 4th power unit of the Turkish nuclear power plant (NPP) "Akkuyu". This was reported in the press service of the plant on Friday.
“In April of this year, the company signed a new contract for the supply of parts for the fourth power unit of the Akkuyu NPP. Under the contract, Energomashspetsstal will manufacture and supply to the customer 285 tons of various products for the main circulation pump. The delivery time for the blanks is the fourth quarter of 2021, ”the message says.
PJSC Energomashspetsstal continues to participate in the construction of the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey. Today, EMSS workshops at different stages of production contain parts for the key equipment of the 3rd and 4th power units of a nuclear power plant under construction in Turkey.
It should be noted that in addition to parts for the MCP, PJSC EMSS already has a contract for the supply of blanks for the 4th power unit of the Akkuyu NPP. This contract was signed last year and provides for the manufacture and supply of 75 units of parts for the steam generator, header, bottom and main circulation pipeline. The total weight of finished products is 1200 tons.
