Metallurgical workshops of DMZ resumed work after downtime in May-June 2020. Prior to that, for seven months, the plant produced only coke-chemical processing products.

Dnieper Metallurgical Plant (DMZ, Dnipro), a member of DCH Steel of the DCH group of Alexander Yaroslavsky, in September 2021 reduced the production of pig iron in comparison with the same period last year by 49.6%, to 12.7 thousand tons, steel - by 51.4%, to 13.8 thousand tons, rolled products - by 39.7%, to 13.2 thousand tons. Coke production decreased by 29.2% to 29.1 thousand tons.

As explained at the company, the decrease in volumes is associated with major repairs. Today, blast furnace No. 2, converter No. 3, heating furnaces of two rolling shops, crane equipment are being repaired.

For 9 months of 2021, DMZ produced 212.1 thousand tons of pig iron, 209.9 thousand tons of steel, 169.9 thousand tons of rolled products, 354.5 thousand tons of coke.
