Uralelectromed JSC (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex) has passed a certification audit of the energy management system (EMS). The audit company TMS RUS "TUF NORD" carried out the verification procedure for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001: 2018.
Within three days, the representative of the audit company visited the shops and divisions of the main site (Verkhnyaya Pyshma) and the branch " Production of polymetals "(Kirovgrad). He performed a check of internal documentation, its execution in workshops and divisions (standards, regulations, instructions). Detailed monitoring of indicators, staff awareness of energy efficiency requirements and the overall performance of the EMS were highly appreciated. The main indicator of energy efficiency - the specific consumption of fuel and energy resources per unit of production - was under control and below the norm.
During the audit, an additional visit was organized to the operational dispatch center of the energy dispatcher of the energy department of the main site, where online all energy parameters are monitored and managed at the enterprise.
Summing up the results of the audit, the auditor emphasized that the EMS of Uralelectromed JSC complies with the international standard - no comments or deviations from the requirements were found. In addition, he thanked the management of the enterprise for the high level of organization of the audit - all the planned activities under the plan were completed on time.
