About 70 million rubles were allocated by Svyatogor OJSC (an enterprise of the metallurgical complex of UMMC) for the implementation of the charitable program in the first half of 2019. The company provides assistance to sports, children's and cultural institutions, supports veterans and city organizations. Among the priority areas is the implementation of the programs of the regional government and the administration of Krasnouralsk.
- Every year we allocate significant funds to charity, because it is important for us the conditions in which employees and veterans of our enterprise live and rest, study and develop their children and grandchildren, - said Dmitry Tropnikov, director of OJSC Svyatogor.
Over 30 million rubles have been invested in the improvement of the city's territory, maintaining the infrastructure of Krasnouralsk and developing the housing and communal services sector. In particular, a project for the improvement and equipping of the Walk of Fame was implemented, within the framework of which six steles were re-erected, the main one of which was faced with black marble. Four units of military equipment are installed on the pedestals: the cabin of the Shch-204 Pike submarine, the T-70 light tank, the D-44 85-mm divisional cannon and the T-34 tank.
Support and development of sports facilities allocated over 15 million rubles. Thus, the cost of repairs at UIA DS Molodist amounted to 6.5 million rubles (cooperation with OJSC Svyatogor is carried out on the basis of a social order). About 2 million rubles were allocated to support the Krasnouralsk Sports School.
For many years, Svyatogor has been channeling funds to finance educational institutions. In the reporting period, costs amounted to 12.4 million rubles. Of these, 3.4 million rubles were provided to preschool educational institutions, 4 million rubles were allocated for the design of an elementary school building for 400 children. At the initiative of "Svyatogor" children attend creative circles and sports sections free of charge. For these purposes, in the first half of 2019, about a million rubles were allocated.
An important area of charitable activity is the support of non-working pensioners. Based on the results of the first half of the year, Svyatogor's total expenditures on projects in this area amounted to 7.6 million rubles.
