The team called Mechel was organized by the employees of Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant Viktor Novoselov, Artem Torzhutkin, Roman Shamangulov and Konstantin Zuenko. At the first stage of the interregional tank cyber tournament "Battle of the Plants", organized by Rostelecom, crews from nearly two dozen large enterprises of the Urals and Trans-Urals became their rivals. The qualifying games were held in seven cities: Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, Perm, Kurgan and Tobolsk. Dozens of e-sportsmen took part in the tournament. Having won the qualifying games, the plant's team reached the final, which will be held in Chelyabinsk on September 14, on Saturday.
In the final of the Battle of the Plants, the Chelyabinsk team will fight for the title of champion of the Urals with three strongest teams of e-sportsmen from other regions: Lukoil-Perm "(Perm)," Kurganmashzavod "(Kurgan) and PNTZ (Pervouralsk). The teams will compete for the cup made of a combat tank shell, computer accessories and other prizes from the organizers.
“We did not meet worthy resistance in the qualifying tournament,” noted Viktor Novoselov, captain of the ChMK team. - All the fights were easy enough. We do not expect such an easy walk in the final. The opponents are experienced, they have been participating for several years. But we are preparing to give them a fight. We are getting ready to win. ”
Spectators will also be able to“ fight ”and receive a prize. During the tournament, individual competitions will be held, where everyone will be able to compete for game gold and other valuable prizes.
Tank battles will take place on Saturday, September 14, at the Winstrike Tavern gaming club at Lenin Avenue, 86. The tournament starts at 13:00.
