MMK will present its project "Attraction" at the investment forum

The company will present to potential partners a unique project to transform the urban space "Attraction", initiated by the chairman of the board of directors of MMK Viktor Rashnikov. The project is aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment of a qualitatively new level on an area of ​​400 hectares belonging to the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works. Modern sports, medical, museum, educational and cultural facilities will be concentrated here, where residents and guests of the city will be able to actively relax, play sports and receive high-quality medical care. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2020. At the first stage, the implementation period of which will be five years, it is planned to create a core for the further formation of the territory on an area of ​​more than 220 hectares. It is planned to build a museum and educational complex, a medical center, a sports cluster and a landscaped park area. The museum and educational complex will include a science museum for adults and children, a museum of the history of metallurgy and a plant, exhibition spaces with permanent and temporary expositions, a library, a lecture hall, a scientific center, industrial laboratories and art workshops. Indoor and outdoor areas will be the objects of the sports and event cluster. for team sports, a fitness center, a 50-meter swimming pool, an ice arena, numerous hiking, cross-country, skiing and cycling routes, a complex of facilities for extreme sports. The new multidisciplinary medical center will accommodate opportunities for both high-tech medical care and for rehabilitation. Highly qualified specialists will be trained and attracted to work in the center. The park complex will be built on an area of ​​over 160 hectares. It will accommodate family recreation areas with walking paths, gazebos, playgrounds, artificial reservoirs; active recreation area with attractions; grounds for cultural and sports events, as well as a natural park. The entire area will be united by a common landscape concept. The implementation of the project will provide a qualitatively new level of education, recreation, access to medical services and sports for residents and guests of the city. It is planned that annually several million people can visit the facilities of the multifunctional park. Such a large-scale project provides businesses with good opportunities to make money on traffic by selling related products and providing various services. The constructed facilities of the multifunctional park will contribute to the creation of new jobs, including in related industries involved in the maintenance of the park and its facilities - cleaning, security, museums, landscape design, etc. The park space is planned to be commercialized by placing street trade facilities and services. In addition, opportunities for business placement will be provided in all the main buildings of the project, the total area of ​​which will be about 100 thousand square meters.
