For several years now, this enterprise has been planning to upgrade the equipment at its weight control point. This equipment could no longer cope with the increased load and showed low rates of weighing accuracy. It also required expensive maintenance. The project planned:
Transfer of scales from mechanics to electronic form,
An increase in the maximum weighing limit from 40 to 80 tons,
Extension of the loading platform from 12 to 18 meters,
Dismantling the lever system,
Dismantling of platform parts,
Strengthening the common foundation,
Casting of new support bollards.
All construction and installation works were completed on time, as well as the fine adjustment of the scales using the reference load. The scales also successfully passed the primary state verification with a mark in the scales passport. As a result of the project, the company received a new 80 ton 18 meter truck scales at the old location.
